C3 Computing was formed, and the Marin Mac Shop opened, so that Jeff and Geoff could continue to do what they have enjoyed doing for years – being totally immersed in the Macintosh world, and enabling others to learn the joys of using a Mac.

Both have years and years of experience, each having started on the Mac when the very first model came out, and using virtually every type of Mac since. They were key players in the origins of Macintosh specialty retailing, Geoff at ComputerWare (the very first all-Macintosh store in the world) and Jeff as a founder of MacOrchard in Berkeley, which later merged with ComputerWare. Over the years they have shown a knack for picking quality products and providing a positive shopping experience. In the fall of 2003 they opened Marin Mac Shop.
